I hope you're kidding when you say that Liberace's version is the best. I didn't think it was good at all actually. You should here the jazz trombonist J.J. Johnson's version of this song, it is fantastic.

I don't know, he's a great piano player and all but i've heard several fantastic versions of this song and not that this one disappointed me, its just not my favorite

I don't understand the criticism of this rendition not sounding jazzy enough. Erroll Garner has one recording in which he plays Misty with a smooth jazz flow. But in the recording with Mitch Miller, Erroll plays Misty in more classical style, very similar to this video featuring Nubo. I think that Erroll would be please with Nubo's rendition of Misty.
