The Boer Republics are on course to being restored eventually simply because the inertia toward their restoration can not be reversed in light of the growing genocide against the Boers & the strong legal claim they have to them of which are before various international bodies. The Boer Republics will be restored -at least in some form- for much the same reasons Israel was restored: to give the Boer people a safe haven from the genocide taking place against them & a place where they can exist.

First of all: the notion of a proposed Volkstaat was an ANC gimmick that was negotiated into the Constitution with the old AVF of Constand Viljoen in order to get him & the AVF to back off of the secession of the Western Transvaal in 1994. Furthermore the Volkstaat proposal was Afrikaner in nature rather than Boer.

Read up on their history & how the Boers even came to exist in the first place: the poverty of their first ancestors is what led them to trek into the Cape frontier during the late 1600s & 1700s which led to the creation of the Boer nation. The Boers are not part of the Afrikaners who dominate them & who were recruited by the British into power.
