As in, the time when they completely conquered Scotland and we eventually shoved them out, mainly with religion and politics? Or that time when the Jacobites got screwed over? Or the time when we were bent so far back that we had to go into union with them to prevent the country from collapsing? I like the romantic version of Scottish history as much as anyone else, but you have to accept that it's not /really/ that great.
