Lord, what an amazing man. I live in Fresno, Ca. We have the highest concentrated poverty in the USA. I am on the ground trying to make a difference to the folks in the community I grew up in which is one of the worst areas. Mr. Strickland, you give me hope!

I met Bill Strickland about 30 years and have followed his career ever since. I first learned about Bill from Frank Ross (Strickland's mentor and my own college ceramics professor). Bill is an amazing man who has made the impossible, possible. He is one of my heroe
